Tubes

Arianna is getting tubes put in her ears on Wednesday.  Although she just finished 10 days of antibiotics about a week and a half ago, when we took her to the ENT on Monday for her scheduled appointment, she had ANOTHER bad ear infection.  They tested her hearing and she basically wasn't hearing out of her left ear at all.  Some of you may know that children that get chronic ear infections tend to end up with speech delays...because if you can't hear the words right, how are you ever going to learn to talk? Luckily for us, it doesn't seem like Arianna has been affected yet.  She is right where she should be with the amount of words she is saying! However, I don't want to wait until we have a problem, so we are getting the tubes put in this week.  It should be a good thing.  It can't be fun being sick ALL THE TIME.  Not to mention, it isn't really healthy to be on antibiotics constantly.
