Santa!!

Last year wasn't a win for us when it came to Santa.  Our Santa experiences were all very traumatic.  I'd say the one that tops the list was when we got all ready for an event at the Children's Museum and had to LEAVE because Santa was in the same building as us.  Although we were nowhere near him, Ari would catch a glimpse of him and it was all over.  Not fun.  I didn't have very high expectations this year, because I know how stubborn my two year old is.  Even when we read her Santa books and talked about him, she would tell us that Santa was mean.  Um, what?  Anyways, there is a "Meet Santa and the Reindeer Bruncheon" at my parents country club.  We signed up to go and have been prepping Arianna for it for weeks.  Usually she says, no Santa, just the reindeer.  Somedays, she would say she was excited to meet Santa.  Anyway, the day arrived yesterday.  We got all dressed up and to my suprise she did GREAT! Even sat on Santa's lap and smiled!! Santa walked through the brunch to say hi to kids in the very beginning and he stopped at our table to tell Arianna that he liked her pearl bracelet.  Ari proceeded to take it off and give it to him, with a huge smile.  Soooooo sweet.
